Our guest is Adriana Kaegi, the original “Mama Coconut” of the influential band Kid Creole and the Coconuts. Adriana is a woman of many talents: singer, choreographer, designer, businessperson and internet pioneer are among her credits. She will soon release her solo album, TAG (from which we premiere a track) and she has recently completed a video documentary about her experiences with the band she helped establish entitled “Kid Creole and My Coconuts.”
Tonight’s Revenge of the 80s Radio will feature a conversation with the diversely-talented Adriana Kaegi, the original “Mama Coconut” and founding member of the legendary Kid Creole and the Coconuts.
