The Pogues announce their Fall 2009 tour dates in the US.
Legendary new wavers the Psychedelic Furs recently announced they will be teaming up with Happy Mondays on a North American tour this fall. Furs lead singer Richard Butler has also been fueling the flames of scuttlebutt about a new album from the band in the near future.

Regeneration Tour 2009 kicks off June 17th at the House of Blues in Boston. This year’s tour features Terri Nunn & Berlin (most dates), ABC, Wang Chung, Cutting Crew and Missing Persons (some dates).

Terri Nunn will be on this year’s Regeneration Tour and will be my guest on the next Revenge of the 80s Radio. We talk about Berlin’s upcoming live CD/DVD, playing on the Regeneration Tour, talk radio and her possible return to television.
This week’s Revenge of the 80s Radio show features a conversation with Wang Chung’s Jack Hues, who will be on this year’s Regeneration Tour.
This week, our guest on Revenge of the 80s Radio will be Jack Hues. He and Nick Feldman partnered up with drummer Darin Costin to form Huang Chung, which later became known as Wang Chung. Hues and Feldman will be on this year’s Regeneration Tour with Terri Nunn and Berlin, ABC, Cutting Crew and Missing Persons.
Due to some financial considerations, Heaven 17 will not be on this year’s Regeneration Tour, according event organizers. The band was to have been included in a lineup featuring Terri Nunn and Berlin, ABC, Cutting Crew and Wang Chung (with Missing Persons for some shows)
Alt-Synth-Pop Pioneers Depeche Mode’s long-awaited new studio album, Sounds of the Universe, is now available in North America. The band released its first single from the composition, “Wrong,” earlier this month

Official word from Red Entertainment, organizers of Regeneration Tour 2009, finalizes the previously-unofficial dates for the new wave concert series.
Terri Nunn and Berlin are recording a special April 4th concert at the House of Blues Sunset in West Hollywood, California. The show will be recorded for their upcoming live CD/DVD package due out in June, according to the Official Berlin Website
Major dates on the Regeneration Tour 2009 are set with more expected to be confirmed soon according to concert promoters Red Entertainment on the Tour’s Official Website.
The lineup features ABC, Cutting Crew, Wang Chung and Heaven 17. Berlin featuring Terri Nunn will play at several of the locations as well.
Organizers for the 2009 Regeneration Tour added Cutting Crew to the concert series lineup, but received the unfortunate news that Men Without Hats were forced to withdraw.
