As we prepare for the 2017 season of Revenge of the 80s Radio, we will air an encore broadcast of our German music special: During Hour 2, we play tracks from German New Wavers of the 80s, many of them part of the Neuve Deutshe Welle movement, featuring tracks from Nena, Trio, The Spider Murphy Gang, Spliff, Hubert Kah, Alphaville and many more.
We play jaunting yuletide tunes from Captain Sensible, Squeeze, Book of Love, Wall of Voodoo, the Celibate Rifles, Nick Lowe, Tony Hadley, The Pogues with Kirsty McColl and many more.
Don Most: band leader, recording artist, film maker, star of “Stewardess School” and “Happy Days” talks with Chris this week. Most is touring with his swing band and is releasing two new albums: “Swingin’ Down the Chimney” in time for Christmas and “D. Most: Mostly Swinging” on February 10, 2017
