New Releases From Andy Prieboy

Before the Jack Whites of the world became in fashion, there was the creative genius of men like Andy Prieboy. His unique approach to music and songwriting mixing and ability to tell stories has made him stand alone from both convention and anti-convention for decades.
Over the past two years, Prieboy has been sporadically releasing new music with each track revealing new layers of his mind to his longtime fans. Today, Prieboy released another set of tracks, a collection titled Don’t Tell That Guy Anything, combining new music with some experimental work, quick sketches and some shelved projects. We will review Prieboy’s work in the coming weeks and have him on Revenge of the 80s soon to talk about it (confirmed), but one’s first glimpse of this group of creations is best learned from Andy’s on words (from his website):
These songs represent the many different creative paths I have taken over the past fours years while learning to use Logic Pro. Some of these were done as self instruction, others were inspired during the tedium of other projects. Some were done to amuse. For one reason or another each were put aside and forgotten.
We will keep you posted as to the week Andy Prieboy will be my guest to talk about Don’t Tell That Guy Anything. You can listen to and purchase any of Prieboy’s new music here and, in the meantime, enjoy a brilliantly edited video by Edwin Vacek, Andy Prieboy’s #1 fan and friend of this radio show, for the track “Thunderbird: V-8 Wonder of the Western World” :
