When Terri Nunn talked with Revenge of the 80s Radio a few weeks ago, we talked a bit about her contribution to the book [amazonify]141696116X::text::::Cherry Bomb: The Ultimate Guide to Being a Tougher Chick and a Hotter Girlfriend, and to Living Like a Rock Star[/amazonify] by rock journalist/author Carrie Borzillo-Vrenna. It is now out and available.
Terri has been extremely busy with several new projects including some solo work, completing an acoustic version of “Sex (I’m a…).” [amazonify]141696116X:right[/amazonify] putting together Girls Night Out and getting into talk radio. Nunn’s chapter is called “Dining, Doing It and Dumping.” As she put it during our interview, it’s “about relationships.” Terri is an incredibly multi-talented person and was well on her way to an illustrious acting career when she turned down the role of Lucy Ewing on TV’s Dallas to go into music.
Other contributors to Cherry Bomb include Lisa Loeb, Cherrie Currie (the Runaways), Master Chef Dave Rubell and Tori Amos.
Borzillo-Vrenna, the author, has extensive writing experience including work with major rock magazines like Spin and Rolling Stone. She had also covered the “celebrity world” with People magazine. Her husband, Chris Vrenna, is the keyboardist for Marilyn Manson.
