Happy New Year to all from us at Revenge of the 80s Radio. Tonight, we will have our first new show of 2010. We will kick off the new year by featuring two previously unreleased tracks by August Darnell of Kid Creole and the Coconuts.
In 2009, Darnell contacted Original Coconut Adriana Kaegi to fine-tune and release several unreleased songs. They are all available to fans on Darnell’s Reverb Nation Page. Kaegi, meanwhile, has been working on several Dear Addy Productions projects as well as new music, including the single “I’ve Been Going Out,” which we premiered on Revenge of the 80s Radio a few weeks ago.
We will also have music from other classic alternative artists including INXS, Mental As Anything, Men Without Hats, Voice of the Beehive and Adam Ant.
