Marshall Crenshaw re-released his #447 album and joins Chris on Revenge of the 80s Radio to talk about it. The new recording of the album features two new tracks, “Will of the Wind” and “Santa Fe,” the latter being a cover of a Gregg Turner song.
Crenshaw discusses the album, how he put it together, thoughts on the new as well as the classic cuts and that this edition of #447 is available in vinyl, which is something he is particularly happy about:
“I love it that phonograph records are popular again, They were consigned to oblivion by the music business back when I was recording for Razor & Tie, but now they’re back!”
