This week on Revenge of the 80s Radio, Jules Shear talks with Chris about his newest album, Slower. The famed song writer offers a more mellow collection, perhaps reflective of his life in Upstate New York. During our conversation, Shear discusses some of the tracks and how he created them:

“These songs all started with words, no music, and then I try to figure out what kind of song they sound like,” says Shear about making the new album. “I’ll take it from there and start messing with it, filling in the gaps with melody.”
