2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the movie Breaking Glass. Hazel O’Connor, who starred in and wrote the soundtrack for the acclaimed movie, is with us on Revenge of the 80s Radio this week. Hazel discusses world travels before singing with her brother’s The Flys, her pre-Breaking Glass jobs, how she got the part of “Kate,” how Breaking Glass’ production was almost halted, her music, evolution as an artist, dealing with the lockdowns, her livestreams and new music. Hazel also reveals she turned doewn a very famous and accomplished artist who offered to help her write the Breaking Glass soundtrack.
