Regeneration Tour 2009: Some Dates Confirmed; Berlin to Play at Some Locations

Major dates on the Regeneration Tour 2009 are set with more expected to be confirmed soon according to concert promoters Red Entertainment on the tour’s official website.
The lineup features ABC, Cutting Crew, Wang Chung and Heaven 17. Berlin featuring Terri Nunn will play at several of the locations as well. It is unknown as to whether there will be a replacement for Nunn’s band where they are not scheduled to play.
The tour will kick off in Boston on June 17th at the House of Blues. ON June 18th, Berlin makes it first appearance with the tour at the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan.
This Regeneration Tour has had its share of bad luck while it was trying to get things together: first, there was a question as to whether Nunn and Berlin were going to perform at all, then Go West wound up leaving the lineup. All seemed for the better when organizers announced Men Without Hats would be on the tour, but unforeseen problems caused Ivan Doroschuk to rescind the invitation with a thoughtful apology to fans. Red Entertainment, however, persevered and we at Revenge of the 80s Radio appreciate their hard work in bringing these artists to the live stage.
