This week’s Revenge of the 80s Radio Podcast/Syndication edit is up. Robert Pereno has been on the edge of becoming a household name several times throughout the 80s. The dancer, singer, poet, actor and promoter was well known as the guy who could fill up a night club with the best of them thanks to skills he honed since the age of 8. Pereno is the subject of two documentary movies: 2013’s “The Promoter†and another one currently in the works. Robert Pereno talks with host Chris Cordani about his story, being on the brink of super-fame but running in the other direction and his new album in conjunction with our friends Steven Jones and Logan Sky, “Aftershock,†on the next Revenge of the 80s Radio.
