News: The 80s Regeneration Tour Kicks Off August 1st

Dead or Alive, ABC, The Human League, A Flock of Seagulls, Naked Eyes and Belinda Carlisle will tour together this year for the 80s Regeneration Tour, which starts August 1st in Phoenix and is slated to ends on August 29th in Atlanta.

While the B-52s and Cyndi Lauper will be out for some time together and the likes of Annabella, Nikki Corvette, Rose McDowall and The Little Girls are working on new projects or have released new CDs, the 80s revival continues.
According to a report from Reuters, ticket prices range from $25 to $75. The dates in Los Angeles, Atlanta and San Diego are already on sale. Other tour dates will be available soon.

An interesting note: Pete Burns, Dead or Alive’s lead singer, recently appeared on the UK versoin of “Big Brother,” which makes me cringe a bit, but it could have been worse: he might have wound up on one of those Flava Flav reality shows on VH-1.
